• $63p/h Flat Rate

WorkPac are currently seeking experienced Dozer and Shovel Operators to join our clients Production Mining Team. These roles are offered on either a 2:2 or 2:1 roster, FIFO from Perth, with BIBO options available for Port Hedland residents.

What you will be doing

• Operate machinery efficiently, safely and competently to ensure maximum output
• Operate CAT D10, D11, D10T and CAT 854K equipment
• Maintain pit floors, bunds and operating areas to design specifications
• Minimise dilution and achieve design parameters within acceptable tolerances
• Maintain stockpiles, dumps and haul roads to ensure safe and efficient material flow
• Operate, drive and move material as directed by the Mining Supervisor
• Carry out pre-start checks and maintain high housekeeping standards
• Comply with site policies, procedures and safety standards at all times

What you will need

• Minimum 5 years experience operating Dozers in a production mining environment
• Proven experience operating CAT D10, D11, D10T and/or CAT 854K
• Strong operational skills maintaining pit floors and bunds
• Sound knowledge of ore mark-ups and pit configuration
• HR Drivers Licence (desirable)
• Proven commitment to health and safety
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen
• Full Australian working rights
