The Role & Project

MACA is seeking experienced Digger Fitters to join our Gruyere Gold Mine Maintenance Team on a 2:1 roster. Work on a fleet of CAT 6060 Shovels, Komatsu PC1250 and Liebherr 9600/9400/9200 excavators.

The Gruyere Gold Mine is an open pit operation located within the Yamarna greenstone belt approximately 200 kilometres east of Laverton in Western Australia – less than a 2 hour flight from Perth!

About You / Requirements

Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Mobile Plant Trade).
HR Drivers Licence.
Minimum 2 years’ experience working on open pit excavators
Strong problem-solving ability including diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across various fleets and machinery.
Experience in an open pit mining environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Highly motivated with the ability to work independently.
Must present with a “Can Do” attitude to work and safety.
