Dewatering Technician

We're looking for experienced Dewatering Technicians to join a leading mining operation in Western Australia.
As a Dewatering Technician, you'll play an essential role in keeping mining operations running efficiently by maintaining and operating dewatering infrastructure.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing, operating and maintaining dewatering pumps, pipelines and associated infrastructure
• Monitoring water levels, flow rates and pumping performance
• Conducting inspections, preventative maintenance and basic repairs
• Identifying and troubleshooting pump, pipework and water management issues
• Relocating pumps, hoses and pipelines as mining operations progress
• Ensuring all activities comply with site safety and environmental standards

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in dewatering or a similar role ie polywelding
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience in open-pit mining environments highly regarded but not essential
• Current Australian C Class driver's licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
