Job Description
About the Role
As a Dewatering Operator, you'll play a key role in supporting open pit mining operations by ensuring dewatering infrastructure is installed, maintained and operating efficiently.

- 3-month contract with the potential to extend
- Commencing asap.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing, relocating and removing poly pipelines, diesel pumping systems and associated dewatering equipment
- Inspecting, troubleshooting and repairing pumping systems to minimise downtime and maximise production
- Carrying out preventative maintenance and ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and contributing to a positive safety culture
What we're looking for
- Current C class driver's licence
- PMBWELD301B – butt welding of pipelines and piping components
- Integrated Tool Handler qualifications or relevant practical experience
- Previous experience in mine site dewatering operations
- A strong commitment to safety and the ability to work well within a team
