ESS provides multi‑service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We deliver essential workplace services to some of the most remote and challenging environments in Australia.

About the Role

We are seeking Darwin‑based candidates to join our Support Services Team at a remote mine site village. These roles support the day‑to‑day operations of the village and directly contribute to the comfort and wellbeing of residents working away from home.

Roles include:

• Hospitality Allrounders
• Kitchen Hand
• Housekeeping
• Mine Site Cleaners
• Food and Beverage Attendant

Key responsibilities

• Cleaning accommodation rooms, communal facilities and amenities
• Waste removal, cleaning of bathrooms and shared spaces, and basic grounds work
• Assisting across multiple kitchen and dining facilities as required
• Operating cleaning equipment and using manual handling techniques safely
• Working 11–12 hour shifts across day and night rosters
• These roles are physically demanding and require a good level of fitness.

The Person

The FIFO lifestyle can be rewarding but requires commitment and adaptability. You will be flexible, team‑focused and willing to support multiple departments on site.

You will have:

• Full Australian working rights
• Current National Police Clearance (issued within the last 3 months)
• Full Australian Driver’s Licence
• Ability to work 11–12 hour shifts, including days and nights
• Capacity to work in remote environments and varying weather conditions
• A positive attitude and strong teamwork mindset
