About the Role
As a D65 Drill & Blast Driller, you will be responsible for operating drill rigs safely and efficiently while delivering high-quality production outcomes. Your duties will include:
- Operating D65 drill rigs in accordance with site procedures
- Executing drill and blast programs to design specifications
- Contour and pattern drilling
- Achieving production targets while maintaining quality standards
- Conducting pre-start inspections and reporting equipment issues
- Maintaining compliance with all safety, environmental, and site requirements
- Working collaboratively within a high-performing project team
Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience operating D65 drill rigs within a mining environment Extensive drill and blast experience Proven capability in contour and pattern drilling Ability to drill accurately to design specifications and meet production targets Strong understanding of mining safety, environmental, and compliance requirements Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to pass pre-employment medical and site onboarding requirements

- $70–$80 per hour (depending on experience)
- 8:6 / 7:7 roster
- Mid-August mobilisation
