We’re looking for an experienced Corporate Communications Lead to help deliver engaging, high-quality communications across Monadelphous. Reporting to the Group Manager, Communications, Strategy and Engagement, you’ll work as part of a collaborative communications team and lead a small group of communications, digital and design professionals to deliver communications that keep our people informed, connected and engaged.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys making things happen. You’ll turn business priorities into clear communications, coordinate campaigns and events, develop content across a range of channels and work closely with stakeholders to deliver great outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Communication & Engagement Planning: Coordinate, calendar, and execute comprehensive internal communication strategies and engagement plans for key corporate initiatives, organizational change, and cross-functional programs.
- Content Creation & Messaging: Write, edit, and deliver audience-focused copy—including executive messages, articles, briefing materials, and presentations—translating complex information into clear, engaging messaging across all digital channels and platforms.
- Strategic Stakeholder & Corporate Portfolio Support: Partner with corporate teams (People & Culture, Strategy, HSE) to address communication needs, while supporting high-level Investor and Board publications, such as annual and sustainability reports.
- Program & Campaign Delivery: Oversee major employee engagement campaigns and targeted communications driving diversity and inclusion, community investment, sustainability, and workplace culture.
- Event Planning & Management: Plan and deliver large-scale corporate and employee events, including leadership forums, roadshows, and employee celebrations.
- Media & Design Collaboration: Collaborate with internal design and digital teams to produce on-brand assets, while managing external agency partners, vendors, and production suppliers.
- Performance Tracking & Analytics: Monitor communication activities, gather feedback, and analyse engagement metrics to drive continuous improvement in future campaign delivery.
What you’ll bring:
- Tertiary degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, or Marketing, backed by solid experience in corporate communications, internal comms, or employee engagement (ideally within an ASX-listed, engineering, resources, energy, or industrial environment).
- Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with demonstrated success in creating clear, engaging content and translating complex information into audience-focused messaging.
- Proven track record in planning and executing end-to-end communication strategies, employee campaigns, digital content, and major corporate events.
- Strong interpersonal confidence to engage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, with the ability to guide and support creative and digital team members.
- Exceptional organizational skills to juggle multiple priorities, deadlines, and vendors, paired with a practical, hands-on approach and sharp attention to detail.
- Prior exposure to sustainability initiatives, diversity and inclusion, organizational change, or digital communications platforms.
- You will blend sharp editorial judgment with a hands-on drive to build trusted relationships and elevate team communications.
