Coreyard Assistant

We're seeking an experienced Coreyard Assistant to join a site-based Geology team on an 8:6 roster, FIFO from Perth, for an initial six-month contract.

This role will suit someone who enjoys being in the coreyard, takes pride in accurate sample handling, and doesn't mind rolling up their sleeves when there's work to be done.

You'll support a range of production and drilling activities, including:

• Assisting with production activities, including ore mark-ups
• Supporting RC drilling activities, including sampling and rock chip collection
• Processing, cutting and sampling core
• Maintaining QAQC standards for sample handling and data recording
• Managing daily and weekly sample dispatches to the assay laboratory
• Accurately recording geological and sampling data using Aquire and Microsoft Office systems
• Adhering to site safety procedures and operational standards.

This is an excellent opportunity to apply your experience across core processing, sampling, QAQC procedures and drilling support activities while working as part of an established Geology team.

We're looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role within the mining or resources sector.

You'll also need:

• Current manual driver's licence
• Current Forklift Licence
• Previous geological sampling experience
• A strong focus on safe and accurate work
• Experience with Aquire and Microsoft Office.
