About the Company

Join a well-established gold mining operation in Western Australia, currently seeking several experienced Core Yard Technicians to join their exploration team on a short-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a high-performing geology department while working on active gold exploration and resource definition programs.

About the Role

As a Core Yard Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the geology team with the day-to-day management and processing of diamond drill core.

Key Responsibilities

• Core handling, transportation, and organisation within the core yard.
• Marking up, metre marking, and preparing core for logging and sampling.
• Operating core cutting and sampling equipment.
• Core photography and data collection.
• Assisting geologists with sample dispatch and QA/QC procedures.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient core yard environment.
• Supporting drilling and exploration activities as required.

About You / Requirements

• Previous experience working in a core yard, exploration, or mining environment.
• Experience handling and processing diamond drill core.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a physically demanding role.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Current Manual C-Class Driver's Licence.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
• Availability to commence immediately or at short notice.
