Core Yard Technician

Westgold Resources is shaping the future of gold mining in Western Australia. We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team who shares our vision of building a sustainable and profitable major Australian gold business.

The Role

• Process diamond drill core, including mark‑up, cutting, sampling and photography
• Prepare samples and chip trays to QAQC standards, including blanks, standards and duplicates
• Sample surface and underground stockpiles and support geological mapping prep
• Maintain consumable stock levels and complete stocktakes
• Enter data accurately and complete daily workplace inspections

What Do I Need

• Strong computer literacy, including confident use of Microsoft Office and data entry systems
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in fast‑paced environments
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication
• Forklift licence (highly regarded)
• Current unrestricted WA Class C driver’s licence
• National Police Clearance issued within the last 12 months
• Proven ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities and meet deadlines
