About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to play a key role in overseeing and driving the successful delivery of Perth Park, Western Australia’s premier entertainment and sporting precinct. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to contribute to a landmark project that will leave a lasting legacy and help shape the future of the state.

In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting commercial outcomes, managing contracts, and ensuring delivery excellence across all stages of the project. You will join a high-performing, collaborative team that is deeply committed to innovation, safety, and quality, working together to deliver a complex, large-scale development that will benefit the community and industry for years to come.

The Role

  • Formation and management of RFQ packages and Subcontractor tendering;
  • Administration of subcontract packages, including management of variations, EOT and daywork claims;
  • Perform cost control and reporting duties for end of month reporting and client contract reports;
  • Attend weekly subcontractor meetings representing Civmec’s commercial interests as required;
  • Drafting and submission of notices of delay, extensions of time, subcontracts and or supplier agreements required for the project;
  • Provide support to the project team in the preparation of relevant notices within designated timeframes;
  • Notify clients of any issues, special circumstances or breaches of contract;
  • Liaising with subcontractors to ensure all relevant insurances are current and legal (i.e. workers compensation)
  • Revise and retain contract registers highlighting payment conditions payment claims; and
  • Maintain company standards of documentation and records for Quality Assurance purposes;

About You


  • Tertiary Qualification in a relevant field is desired but not necessary
  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in a role as a Contract Administrator or Quantity Surveyor;
  • Previous experience within the construction industry is essential;
  • Strong, clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal; and
  • Strong understanding of commercial management and project controls.
