About the Role

This is an exciting time to join NRW Civil & Mining. We are seeking applications from experienced Construction Managers to join one of our high-profile Infrastructure Projects on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have Infrastructure industry exposure and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following as a minimum:

  • Bachelor of Construction Management, qualification or relevant degree
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Construction Manager on Civil and/or Infrastructure projects
  • Main Roads experience is highly desirable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, CAD, and PDF software packages
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project/Aphex/Primavera P6 software experience or equivalent
  • Proven interpersonal skills working with Supervisors, Superintendents, and Client Representatives to maintain and build strong relationships
  • Ability to work autonomously but also collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Australian Driver’s Licence

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing leadership, mentoring, and direction to Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, and construction teams
  • Monitoring project performance, including productivity, cost control, forecasting, risk management, and resource planning.
  • Managing project quality systems, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality assurance documentation, NCRs, and project handovers.
  • Provide regular project reporting, including progress updates, commercial performance, schedule reviews, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Building and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, local authorities, utility providers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Subcontractor management with a strong focus on Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements and commitments
