DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE

In collaboration with production management, you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of a production area. You plan, organise and coordinate human, material and financial resources to achieve production objectives, while complying with environmental, health and safety and quality standards. You contribute to setting the plant’s annual objectives, including environment, health and safety, production, quality and budget. You coordinate and plan the production schedule in partnership with the commercial team. You ensure the production targets are met, budgets are respected and deadlines related to the order book are met. You also participate in continuous improvement of operations by identifying issues and implementing effective solutions with the involved teams.

PROFILE SOUGHT

• University degree in engineering
• 10 years’ experience in the metallurgical industry, including supervision of operations
• Demonstrates strong leadership and inspires confidence
• Communicates effectively at all levels of the organisation
• Demonstrates initiative, influence and open-mindedness while fostering teamwork
