Responsibilities
Role OverviewExperienced Underground Charge Up Operators are required to support development and production activities at Scotia Mine. This role is suited to operators with a strong safety focus and proven experience in underground charging and blasting.Key ResponsibilitiesCharge development and production headings in line with mine plansConduct safe and efficient underground blasting activitiesHandle, transport, and store explosives in accordance with site proceduresConduct pre- and post-blasting inspectionsMaintain accurate blast records and reportingWork closely with Jumbo operators and production crewsEnsure compliance with safety systems and statutory requirementsIdentify and report hazards, incidents, and non-conformancesMaintain high housekeeping standards underground
Qualifications
