The Opportunity

Exciting opportunities exist for Casual Utilities to work a Fly-In-Fly-Out (FIFO) from Perth Airport to our remote sites throughout Western Australia. We are enhancing the catering and workplace experience in our WA Villages and your innovation and flare is needed to be a part of the team!

• Casual FIFO role – flexible swings based on site needs and your availability
• Hourly rate between $30 – $40.
• Meals, accommodation and uniforms included whilst on site (Steel cap boots included)
• Ongoing support and training with opportunities to grow within a large global company

• Casual staff will be considered first for any full-time vacancies before external advertising

We have opportunities across various areas or departments in the remote mining villages across Western Australia such as…

Housekeeping / Cleaning:

• Cleaning resident’s rooms, storage areas and other areas within the village.
• Stripping and sealing of floors.
• Ensure resident room supplies are replenished.
• Cleaning of bathrooms.
• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, removing rubbish and other cleaning duties as required.

Grounds Maintenance / Stores:

• Valid forklift license essential for all stores roles.
• General works and maintenance e.g. mowing, general grounds works, grounds cleaning activities.
• Weeding and spraying.
• Operating machinery (whipper snipper, lawn mower, hedge trimmer).

Food and Beverage / Catering Attendant:

• Provide food and beverage service to the required service standards
• Maintain the cleaning schedule.
• Ensure all cash handling is accurate and in line with procedures
• General bar duties as required.
• General kitchen hand duties as required.
• Ensure all areas or full stocked during service periods including food items, drink dispensers, crockery, cutlery and consumables.
• Keep tables and service areas clean and tidy.

To be considered

• Essential - Current Australian Unrestricted C-Class Manual Drivers Licence
• Previous experience in a FIFO Housekeeping, Tavern, Dining and/or Catering will be highly regarded.
• Previous hospitality and/or cleaning experience and ability to work in a team.
• Current forklift license essential for all stores roles.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate essential for all Tavern/Retail roles.
• Ability to work a FIFO roster from Perth Airport.
• Police Clearance or willing to obtain one & medically fit to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
