Hays are the recruiting experts within the Building Maintenance and Service sector and, based on a new project requirement, we are looking for casual maintenance carpenters. The role is to assist with a number of camp maintenance and infrastructure requirements on site.
Your new role
The positions will involve maintenance and fault-finding for both the mine and camp.
You will be responsible for carrying out carpentry maintenance, which will include general carpentry maintenance and repairs to building facades, doors, furniture, painting / patching and other related ad-hoc maintenance.
What you'll need to succeed
- Trade certificate in carpentry
- FIFO experience
- Current, WA car licence
- Police clearance within 6 months
- BHP Inductions essential
What you'll get in return
These are casual positions with a competitive hourly rate. Suitable candidates have the opportunity of ongoing work. All flights, meals and accommodation will be provided whilst on site. Flexible roster - work as much or as little as you like.
