Camp Maintenance Carpenter

Hays are the recruiting experts within the Building Maintenance and Service sector and, based on a new project requirement, we are looking for casual maintenance carpenters. The role is to assist with a number of camp maintenance and infrastructure requirements on site.

About the Role

The positions will involve maintenance and fault-finding for both the mine and camp. You will be responsible for carrying out carpentry maintenance, which will include general carpentry maintenance and repairs to building facades, doors, furniture, painting / patching and other related ad-hoc maintenance. Due to the nature of casual positions, we are only seeking candidates who currently live in WA.

• Maintenance and fault-finding for both the mine and camp
• Carpentry maintenance
• General carpentry maintenance and repairs to building facades
• Repairs to doors
• Repairs to furniture
• Painting / patching
• Other related ad-hoc maintenance

About You / Requirements

• S26 Qualifications (Essential)
• WA Trade certificate in carpentry (Essential)
• FIFO experience
• Current, WA Car licence (Essential)
• Police clearance within 6 months
• Rio Tinto Induction essential
• BHP Induction essential
