We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Business Support Manager – Site Services to lead the planning, coordination, and operational readiness of shutdowns and field projects across Australia. Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, this is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and commercially successful project delivery.

About the Role

Based out of our Picton Workshop in Bunbury, you will oversee resource planning, and coordination, equipment readiness, and operational support functions that underpin our site-based operations.

You will work closely with Contract Managers and operational leaders to improve safety, productivity, cost control, and operation sustainability across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Planning & Readiness

• Lead mobilisation and demobilisation planning for shutdowns
• Ensure labour, equipment, tooling, and logistics are prepared ahead of execution
• Coordinate workshop support activities for site delivery teams

Commercial & Financial Control

• Drive accurate job cost capture and timely invoicing support
• Monitor mobilisation, tooling, and operational costs against budgets
• Support CAPEX planning, submissions, and cost justification
• Assist with project lifecycle activities including variations, claims, and closeout
• Provide reporting on financial performance, forecasts, and margin drivers

Equipment & Asset Coordination

• Manage readiness, availability, and optimisation of equipment and tooling
• Improve tooling standards and develop fit-for-purpose solutions
• Support maintenance planning and asset control

People Leadership & Business Support

• Lead and support a small team while influencing a broader workforce
• Coordinate workforce planning, mobilisation administration, and documentation
• Support HR and IR matters in collaboration with internal stakeholders

Continuous Improvement, Safety & Quality

• Standardise processes and planning routines
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality, and delivery
• Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, and quality systems

About You

You are a commercially minded operational leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and enjoys balancing multiple priorities.

Essential:

• 10+ years’ experience in shutdowns, maintenance, projects, or operational support
• Proven experience coordinating mobilisation, labour, equipment, and logistics
• Strong background in cost control, invoicing support, and operational administration
• Demonstrated leadership experience in high-tempo environments
• Experience improving systems, processes, and work standards
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence

Desirable:

• Experience with CAPEX planning and equipment investment justification
