Tritton Operations is a long-life copper mine located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales. Commencing production in 2005, Tritton Copper Operations is 100% owned and operated by Aeris Resources and forms the cornerstone of our copper production.

Tritton mines from multiple sources and as we look to bring more mines into production, we are transitioning to a ‘hub-and-spoke’ model where ore is transported to our centralised mill for processing.

About the Role

As our Building Projects and Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance operations across the site, including mechanical and structural assets, buildings, and infrastructure. The role requires leadership of trades teams, scheduling maintenance activities, managing preventative maintenance plans, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Maintenance of company housing stock and site services maintenance (air, water and sewer) are also part of the responsibilities of this role. Your commitment to safety, with a track record of enforcing and promoting safe work practice, is one of your strengths and you have the ability and desire to motivate and guide our diverse team to deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance operations across the site, including mechanical and structural assets, buildings and infrastructure
  • Lead and supervise trades teams
  • Schedule maintenance activities and manage preventative maintenance plans
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Maintain company housing stock and site services maintenance (air, water and sewer)
  • Promote safe work practices and foster a safe, productive team environment

What you bring

  • Demonstrated supervisory experience with building, facilities, or maintenance supervision in a mining or heavy industrial environment
  • Trade qualification in carpentry, electrical, or plumbing (or equivalent experience)
  • Manual Drivers Licence (Mandatory)
  • Cert IV Frontline Supervision (Well-regarded but not mandatory)
  • Planning & Scheduling experience
  • Pronto experience
  • Solid understanding of preventative maintenance systems and asset management
