Description & Requirements

You will play a vital role in an Alumina Refinery shutdown, specifically focusing on Digestion Units 1-4.

We encourage applicants from Gladstone locals and those interstate.

What you’ll bring:

• Prior experience in shutdown environments, preferably within Alumina or similar continuous processing plants
• Australian recognised Trade Certificate in Fabrication (essential)
• Ability to pass a 6G Weld Test - GTAW/FCAW, SMAW
• Working at Heights Training (within 2 years) (essential)
• Confined Space Entry Training (within 2 years) (essential)
• Gas test (preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
• Proof of right to work in Australia
