About the Role

Due to continued growth, Mader are currently seeking Fixed Plant Boilermakers to join our Rostered Maintenance Crews on our FIFO rostered maintenance crews enjoying a variety of 2/2, 8/6 or 2/1 rosters coming up.

This is a FIFO role ex. Perth; interstate candidates are encouraged to apply (Must make own way to/from Perth).

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrated fault-finding, repair and fabrication experience on Fixed Plant Mining equipment
• Performing maintenance on crushers, conveyor systems, chutes, hoppers, screens, pumps, and structural components
• Welding, cutting, fabrication and structural repairs on fixed plant infrastructure
• Preventative maintenance & breakdown repairs
• Shutdown support and plant upgrades
• Heavy fabrication and installation work within mining environments

What do I need to join?

• Trade Qualification – Boilermaker / Welder (Certificate III Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent)
• Drivers Licence
• Construction White Card
• Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets (essential)
• First Aid & CPR (desirable)
• Gas Test Atmospheres ticket (essential)
• Fire/Hot Work ticket (essential)
• Proven experience in fixed plant maintenance within mining or heavy industry
• Strong MIG, TIG and Arc welding skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong commitment towards safety and quality
