Boilermaker Welder (BMW) – Heavy Earthmoving Equipment Repairs

$56–$60/hr | Monday–Friday | 40 hours per week | Perth-based / Perth Metro-based

Chandler Macleod is currently seeking an experienced Boilermaker Welder for a Perth-based workshop and field service role, focusing on the repair and maintenance of heavy earthmoving equipment (HME).

Working within a well-established team, you will be responsible for carrying out structural repairs, rebuilds and fabrication work on mining and civil equipment, including buckets, trays, blades and other heavy components.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out heavy structural repairs on buckets, trays, blades and attachments.
• Fabricate and weld wear plates and structural components.
• Perform crack detection, gouging, preparation and weld repairs.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and repair specifications.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and safety.

Essential Requirements

• Trade-qualified Boilermaker / Welder.
• Demonstrated experience with heavy earthmoving equipment repairs.
• Proven 4G Flux Core welding experience.
• Ability to pass weld testing if required.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality.
