MacKellar is seeking experienced HME Boilermakers to join our maintenance team on a long-term mining project near Nyngan, NSW. With a modern heavy mobile equipment fleet and a strong focus on safety, we offer stable employment and the opportunity to work alongside an experienced maintenance crew.

About the role
You'll carry out fabrication, welding and structural repairs across a range of heavy mobile mining equipment, helping keep our fleet safe, reliable and operating efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing structural repairs and fabrication on heavy mining equipment
- Repairing buckets, trays, wear packages and HME components
- Performing welding, air arc gouging and other hot work
- Identifying cracks, assessing damage and completing quality repairs
- Supporting planned maintenance, shutdowns and component rebuilds
- Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings
- Working safely at heights and in confined spaces when required
About you
To be successful in this role, you'll bring strong trade skills and practical experience working on heavy mobile equipment in a mining or heavy earthmoving environment.
You'll also have:
- A recognised Boilermaker trade qualification
- Previous HME or heavy mining equipment experience
- Proven skills in structural repairs, fabrication and welding
- Experience with bucket, tray and wear package repairs
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- A current Australian driver's licence
