About the Company

Pearl Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Boilermaker for our local client who are a WA owned supplier to the construction and building industry. Based in the north-east suburbs of Perth this position will commence on a temp basis with a view for permanency for the right person.

About the Role

The role involves working within the maintenance team and will be tasked with repairs and maintenance on fixed plant equipment. Experience in the heavy manufacturing industry is a must.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, repairs, and breakdown work on fixed plant machinery
• Perform fabrication, welding, and structural repairs
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections to minimise downtime

About You / Requirements

• Relevant Australian or New Zealand Trade qualification
• Ideally hold WAH and CS (or willing to obtain)
• Current Drivers Licence with own transport
• Permanent resident of Australia
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test

Qualifications & Certifications

• Relevant Australian or New Zealand Trade qualification
• Working at Heights (WAH) certification (or willing to obtain)
• Confined Space (CS) certification (or willing to obtain)
• Current Drivers Licence

What's On Offer / Benefits

• Monday - Friday - 6AM - 2:06PM Roster
• $57.10 p/hr + super, with penalties for hours over 38 hours per week
