About the Role

Barminco is actively seeking suitably qualified applicants to fill the role of General Trainer, based at its operations in Canada, on a permanent roster of 6 weeks on, 3 weeks off, FIFO ex any capital city in the world. This is an opportunity to be part of a highly productive team at a world-class mine with state-of-the-art technology, working for a successful leading international contractor.

Requirements

Previous demonstrated expertise in the following areas is essential, along with the ability and desire to train others:

• All-round mechanised mining experience in a highly productive environment
• Charge-up in both development and production
• Development bogging to a high standard, including roadworks
• Service Crew proficiency, including services installation and maintenance, pumping and ventilation
• A proactive attitude to safety and a driven work ethic

Further experience in other disciplines will be considered an advantage.

Pre-employment Requirements
