Responsibilities

Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out electrical maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on underground mobile mining equipmentDiagnose and rectify faults across electrical, electronic, communication, automation and control systemsPerform planned and breakdown maintenance activities to minimise equipment downtimeConduct inspections, testing, calibration and component replacementsInstall, maintain and repair wiring, lighting, sensors, monitoring systems and vehicle electrical componentsEnsure all work is completed in accordance with statutory, site and OEM requirementsIdentify and manage workplace hazards and risksMaintain accurate maintenance records and reportingContribute to a positive team culture and strong safety performance

Qualifications

About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Previous experience as an Auto Electrician in underground development or production miningAustralian recognised Auto Electrical Trade QualificationStrong fault finding and diagnostic skills on mobile mining equipmentExperience working with underground loaders, drill rigs, trucks and ancillary equipment highly regardedCurrent CPR and LVR certification, or the ability to obtainCurrent manual driver's licenceAbility to pass a pre employment medical and police clearanceA proactive approach to safety and teamwork aligned with Redpath's values"Consider it done.
