Are you an experienced Auto Electrician looking for your next FIFO opportunity? We are currently seeking skilled and safety-focused Auto Electricians to join established mining operations across Western Australia. Working on a fleet of modern heavy mobile equipment, you will play a key role in maintaining high equipment availability and supporting production targets through quality diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance activities.

Your new role

• Diagnose, repair and maintain electrical systems on heavy mobile mining equipment.
• Troubleshoot and rectify electrical, electronic and communication faults.
• Perform planned maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance activities.
• Fault-find using diagnostic software and OEM systems.
• Repair wiring harnesses
• Replace alternators
• Replace starter motors
• Replace sensors
• Replace cameras
• Replace lighting systems
• Replace air conditioning systems
• Replace monitoring systems
• Replace GPS and communication systems
• Complete shutdown and field service work as required.
• Document repairs and maintenance activities accurately.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures.

What you'll need to succeed

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate in Automotive Electrical Technology.
• Experience working on heavy mobile mining equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
