Asset Management & Operations Specialist (Energy / Oil & Gas)

About the Role

This role sits at the intersection of commercial, operational, and financial asset management, supporting the performance and optimisation of upstream energy assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support daily LNG and domestic gas operations, including coordination of lifting and nominations
• Oversee production allocation and lifting agreements, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external buyers on cargo scheduling and delivery activities
• Monitor and manage tolling fees, revenue streams, and commercial arrangements
• Prepare and maintain annual development plans (ADP) and support business planning processes
• Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting, including financial performance, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities, tracking asset performance against targets
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies across asset management functions

About You / Requirements

• Experience within oil & gas, LNG, energy, or resources sector
• Background in asset management, commercial operations, or production / JV environments
• Understanding of LNG / gas operations or scheduling, Joint venture (JV) structures and production allocation, Commercial agreements and stakeholder coordination
• Strong analytical and financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, performance tracking)
• Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, commercial, and finance teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
