About the Role
As an Asset Coordinator with NRW, you are responsible for maintaining accurate asset records, coordinating asset maintenance activities, monitoring asset performance, and supporting lifecycle management to optimize asset reliability, availability, and cost effectiveness. The role works closely with operations, maintenance, procurement and finance teams to ensure assets are effectively managed throughout their lifecycle.
To be considered for this position as an Asset Coordinator you must possess the following as a minimum:
- Australian Manual Drivers Licence
- Australian recognised Certificate IV, Diploma or relevant experience in Asset Management, Engineering & Maintenance
- Tickets; White Card,
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Familiarity of earthmoving equipment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, AMT
As an Asset Coordinator, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Maintain and update the asset register within the CMMS/EAM
- Track asset acquisition, deployment, transfer, and disposal activities
- Ensure asset data integrity and compliance with company standards
- Support asset lifecycle planning and replacement strategies
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Assist with planning and scheduling maintenance work
- Monitor work order completion and asset downtime
- Liaise with maintenance teams to ensure timely execution of work
- Generate reports on asset performance, utilization, and reliability
- Monitor maintenance costs and identify improvement opportunities
- Analyse asset failures and contribute to root cause investigations
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Maintain asset documentation including manuals, warranties, and inspection records.
- Ensure statutory inspections and compliance requirements are met
- Support audits and regulatory reporting requirements
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors regarding asset-related activities.
