The Role

As an All-Rounder Production Operator, you will play an integral role in maintaining safe and efficient production across site. You'll be operating a variety of mining equipment while working closely with supervisors and fellow operators to achieve production targets.

Equipment Experience

Experience on some or all of the following is highly regarded:

• CAT 777, 785, 789 Haul Trucks
• Komatsu haul trucks
• D10 & D11 Dozers
• CAT 16M & 18M Graders
• Excavators – CAT 6060 - Komatsu PC1250 - Liebherr 9400 / 9200 or equivalent
• CAT 992 & 994 Loaders

Key Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of production mining equipment
• Achieving production targets while maintaining site safety standards
• Conducting pre-start inspections and reporting defects
• Identifying hazards and contributing to a safe workplace
• Following site procedures and operational requirements
• Working collaboratively within a production-focused team
• Maintaining equipment in a clean and serviceable condition
• Demonstrating a strong commitment to safety, productivity and teamwork

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Previous open pit production mining experience
• Experience operating multiple production mining machines
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Strong safety mindset and commitment to best practice
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Excellent attitude, reliability and work ethic
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
