About the Role

Civmec continues to expand across major construction projects throughout Western Australia, and we’re seeking experienced HSE Advisors to join our growing Construction division. These long‑term opportunities span multiple sites, where you’ll play a critical role in driving safe work practices and supporting the delivery of significant infrastructure and resources projects. We offer 2:1 FIFO and DIDO rosters, working within high‑performing teams that prioritise safety, quality, and innovation. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage HSE aspects across construction works
• Support risk identification and ensure activities are reduced to ALARP
• Lead incident investigations and communicate findings to project teams
• Develop, implement, and coordinate HSE standards, programs, and procedures
• Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and Civmec’s Corporate Compliance Matrix
• Monitor and apply regulatory updates to project systems
• Assist in hazard investigations and ensure corrective actions address root causes

About You / Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar HSE role within construction, mining, or heavy industry
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and industry best practice
• Cert IV or Diploma in OHS
• ICAM or Taproot certification
• Experience using HSE databases and reporting systems
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in remote environments
