Job Description
CITIC Pacific Mining is seeking an Administrator – Processing to join our team at the Sino Iron Project. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive administrator to provide essential support to our Processing department within one of Australia's largest mining operations. This is a permanent opportunity on an 8/6 roster, FIFO from Perth.
As the Administrator – Processing, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality administrative support to the Processing team, ensuring the efficient day-to-day coordination of departmental activities. You will play a key role in managing personnel movements, onboarding, travel and accommodation, payroll administration, and maintaining accurate records to support safe and efficient operations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide administrative support ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office, including preparing documents, organising meetings and handling other administrative tasks as required
- Manage flights and accommodation bookings for department employees and visitors
- Maintaining accurate rosters for all personnel movements, including management of conditional formatting and upkeep of Excel documents
- Liaising with Payroll ensuring accuracy of leave form submissions
- Onboarding of new starters and visitors, including data entry, roster management, compliance checks and site inductions
- High volume movements associated with shutdowns
- Controlling stationary orders and maintaining an appropriate amount of stock on site
- Raising requisitions/purchase orders
- Updating contact lists/asset registers/new vehicles
- Maintaining confidentiality of information and records
- Detailed data management and filing
- Other ad-hoc administrative duties.
What we’re looking for:
- A current WA Manual Drivers Licence is essential.
- A clear communicator with high level interpersonal and people skills
- Capability to apply high level of accuracy in data entry
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Office
- Capability to adapt to change; handle stress and persist towards goals despite obstacles
- High level of time management and the ability to handle a fluctuating workload
- Ability to analyse, resolve problems and make decisions in a logical and effective manner
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
