About the Company

Our leading global mining and resource client is a leading producer of iron ore, copper, metallurgical coal, nickel and potash. As part of their Minerals Australia operation, you will have the opportunity to work onsite with one of the world's most significant deposits of copper, gold and uranium including underground and surface operations and operates a fully integrated processing facility from ore to metal.

About the Role

Acid Plant Technician based in Regional SA is a 7/7 FIFO or Roxby Downs Residential role with dayshift and nightshift, paying $54.43 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate independently to start and shut down pumps, and manage hosing into pumps and ponds
• Conduct work along pond jetty walls (approximately 8 m in height)
• Perform pre-start inspections and safety checks on all equipment
• Communicate effectively with the control room via two-way radio
• Operate and manually adjust valves, and direct water cannons as required

About You / Requirements

• Proven experience within Mining Industry (desired but not essential)
• Ability to work independently
• Experience working in outdoor, physically demanding environments
• Comfortable working at heights, such as elevated walkways or jetty walls
