2IC Crushing Supervisor

About the Company

Our client is a Large Mining and Civil Contractor with a strong presence across WA covering various mine sites. Specialising in crushing and screening operations, they have built their success on reliability and a strong family-oriented culture. Due to continued project success, they are looking for a Site Manager / 2IC to join their team and help drive operational performance.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site-based crushing and screening activities. This position sits between the crew and senior management, requiring a leader who is comfortable coordinating production targets while ensuring the maintenance team and mobile plant fleet are performing at their peak.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and supervising a multi-disciplinary crew to achieve production and safety targets.
• Coordinating maintenance schedules for crushing and screening circuits and mobile plant.
• Managing site HSE compliance, ensuring all team members adhere to safety protocols.
• Liaising with the client and senior management to provide progress reports and updates.
• Troubleshooting operational bottlenecks and implementing efficient workflows.
• Mentoring and developing junior staff to maintain a high-performing site culture.

• Departure: Ex Perth
• Sites: Multiple
• Environment: Hard rock crushing and screening operations
• Rate: Highly Negotiable

What You'll Need

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within crushing and screening.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a background in mobile plant or fixed plant maintenance.
• Proven ability to lead crews and manage production schedules effectively.
• Cert IV in Leadership and Management or Surface Extraction is desirable but not essential.
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence and White Card
• Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
• Full Australian working rights.
