Golden Grove is a high-grade underground mining operation producing copper, zinc, and precious metals. With a mine life exceeding 10 years, it has strong potential for further extension. The site is currently undergoing an expansion, including the development of a new mine, the extension of existing operations, and major infrastructure upgrades.

We operate two long-life assets: Golden Grove in Western Australia and Capricorn Copper in Queensland, along with a portfolio of exploration interests, including a strategic tenement package and project in Redhill, Chile.

About the Role

We are seeking geology students to join our Summer Vacation Program from November 2026 to February 2027 at our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. These site-based roles will operate on either an 8/6 or 2/1 roster and provide students with practical, on-the-job experience in the mining industry.

As a Vacation Student, you will work alongside experienced professionals, develop valuable skills, and contribute to a real-world mining operation.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with geological mapping, sampling, and field data collection.
• Supporting the Geology Team with core logging, drill hole interpretation, and analysis.
• Participating in geological modelling and resource estimation.
• Conducting fieldwork and supporting geological surveys and exploration activities.
• Analysing rock and soil samples to support resource characterisation.

About You

You will be studying towards a bachelor’s degree in geology, earth science, or a related field, with a strong interest in the mining industry and a willingness to learn in a practical, hands-on environment.

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications include:

• Willingness to work outdoors in dynamic, site-based conditions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• A current C-class manual driver's licence.
