2:2 / 7:7 Longhole Driller

Protech are looking for experienced Longhole Driller to perform work with our client, located in the Goldfields Region of WA on a 2/2 and 7/7 FIFO basis.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Immediate start
• Competetive pay Rates
• Opportunity to go permanent with client after 6 months.
• 12% Super paid on all hours
• 12-hour day and night shift
• FIFO from Perth/ DIDO from Kalgoorlie.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate longhole drill rigs in a safe and efficient manner
• Utilise automation and rig control systems
• Conduct pre-start checks, routine inspections and basic maintenance of drilling equipment
• Maintain accurate drilling records and production data
• Collaborate with the team to maximise productivity
• Contribute to a positive site culture

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Minimum 12 months experience in underground drilling, including up-hole drilling
• Solid understanding of longhole stoping methods and production drilling
• Ability to interpret mine plans, drill designs and stope layout instructions
• Ensure strong adherence to safety requirements on site
• Valid manual (C class) Australian drivers’ licence (essential)
• EWP, Forklift, Dogging (desirable)
