Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join a well-established mining services operation in Western Australia. This is a permanent opportunity for a motivated, people-focused leader to play a key role in driving safe, efficient, and high-quality workshop operations.
This role suits someone who enjoys leading from the front, developing teams, and contributing to continuous improvement across workshop performance.
Key Highlights
- Lead and coordinate daily workshop operations with a strong focus on safety, wellbeing, and teamwork
- Support, mentor, and develop tradespeople, building capability and confidence within the team
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, standard work practices, and effective workshop planning
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and fault-finding across surface and/or underground mobile mining equipment in line with site and customer requirements
- Conduct job safety audits and equipment inspections
- Coordinate pre-delivery inspections and commissioning of new mobile equipment
- Monitor work progress to ensure jobs are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with operational expectations
- Support warranty claims, reporting, and technical documentation where required
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in a supervisory or leading-hand role within mining, automotive, or heavy equipment environments (or readiness to step into your first formal supervisory role)
- Relevant trade qualification with solid post-trade experience
- Exposure to mobile mining equipment , either surface or underground (OEM experience advantageous but not essential)
