RCR Mining Technologies are seeking experienced Welders to join our team in our Welshpool Workshop for an Immediate start.

We have an exciting opportunity for Boilermaker Welders at RCR Mining Technologies (RCRMT), a leading business unit within NRW Holdings.

These positions require excellent welding and fabrication skills, as well as a strong understanding of boiler making techniques. The Boilermaker Welders must consistently provide high-quality welding and fabrication services to support the construction, repair, and maintenance of mining technologies. With your expertise, you will contribute to the success of the team and help ensure the safety and efficiency of mining operations.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Fabrication and welding of structural steel, mechanical equipment, and piping packages in an efficient and competent manner to the relevant Australian Standards and client specifications.
• Prepares all steel work for welding to best practices
• Operates and maintains all workshop equipment within your skill set
• Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production
• Maintain inventory of completed products
• Ensure that all machines and equipment are maintained in a clean and tidy condition and that no items are left loose
• Perform any additional tasks as directed which are within your skill, qualification, and competence level.

To be considered for this position, you will need to:

• Live locally in the Perth metro area
• Have relevant experience that are able to pass 3G/4G weld test
• Dogging/Rigging (preferred but not essential)
• Forklift Ticket (preferred but not essential)
• Willing to complete Pre employment Medical
• Have a solid commitment to safety, along with a genuine, reliable nature.

• Excellent hourly rates & penalties, afternoon shift of 3.30pm to 1.30am, Monday to Friday.
