Weld Coder / Boilermaker

We are seeking an experienced Trade Qualified Boilermaker with strong welding capability to support maintenance and project works within a heavy industrial environment at Yarwun Refinery. Working within a safety-focused team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality welding and fabrication outcomes across fixed plant assets.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Boilermaker who is confident interpreting welding documentation, working to site QA requirements, and supporting maintenance and shutdown activities within a structured refinery environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform welding, fabrication, and maintenance activities on fixed plant equipment
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, weld procedures, and fabrication plans
  • Complete weld documentation and quality records in line with site standards
  • Work within site welding QA requirements and compliance frameworks
  • Support maintenance and shutdown activities across refinery operations
  • Maintain a strong commitment to safety and adherence to site procedures

A bout You

  • Trade Qualified Boilermaker (mandatory)
  • Strong industrial welding experience within heavy industry environments
  • Ability to interpret weld procedures and complete QA documentation
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Ability to pass a Yellow Card medical
  • Strong safety focus and ability to work within compliance-driven environments

Highly Regarded

  • Previous experience at Yarwun, BSL, QAL, or similar industrial sites
  • Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets
  • Experience with structural steel, piping, or coded welding activities
  • Experience working within welding QA and site documentation systems
