What you’ll do

This is an opportunity to influence warehouse performance across Thiess Australian operations. Working closely with site teams and supply chain functions, you'll drive warehouse excellence, inventory integrity and continuous improvement initiatives that support some of Australia's largest mining projects.

Supporting multiple mining operations across Australia, you'll work alongside site warehousing teams to improve inventory accuracy, optimise warehouse processes and embed consistent standards across a complex national supply chain network.

Regular site engagement will provide the opportunity to work directly with operational teams, identify improvement opportunities and influence warehouse performance where it matters most.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive warehouse excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across Australian operations.
  • Support site teams to improve inventory accuracy and warehouse performance.
  • Ensure consistent and effective use of WMS (JD Edwards) across all sites.
  • Develop reporting and analytics to provide operational performance insights.
  • Deliver training and coaching to warehouse personnel.
  • Support warehouse mobilisation and demobilisation activities.
  • Conduct warehouse reviews and audits to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with Thiess warehousing standards and governance requirements.
  • Provide onsite support to operational teams.

What you’ll bring

  • Extensive experience in warehouse and inventory management in mining
  • Understands asset maintenance and mining supply chain environments
  • Can influence and support site-based teams
  • Enjoys driving process improvement and operational excellence
  • Confidence analysing data and translating insights into action
  • Thrives working across multiple sites and stakeholders
  • Qualification in supply chain, ideally focused on inventory or warehousing
  • Unrestricted class C drivers license
