About the Company
Our client is a privately owned gold mine situated approximately 130km south of Townsville and 90km east of Charters Towers in north-east Queensland.
About the Role
Due to upcoming project works, we are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join the team on an 8/6 roster (rotating day & night shifts) on an ongoing basis. This is a Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) role from Townsville, with meals and accommodation fully provided during your roster.
Key Responsibilities
- Receipting and dispatching goods
- Inspecting incoming materials
- Conducting stock takes and maintaining inventory accuracy
- Unloading deliveries and de-stuffing containers using a forklift
About You / Requirements
- Proven warehouse experience on a mine site (essential)
- Current forklift ticket
- Manual driving licence
- MR licence (highly regarded but not essential)
