Warehouse Operative

About the Role

This is a hands-on Warehouse Operator role within a busy Supply Chain team. A 6-month casual assignment with immediate start, Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm, Perth WA on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving, unloading and storing incoming materials and products
• Operating forklifts safely and completing daily pre-start checks
• Picking, packing and staging orders for dispatch
• Preparing outgoing goods, including correct packaging and labelling
• Coordinating and maintaining an organised warehouse and yard
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Completing regular stocktakes and cycle counts
• Inspecting goods for damage, defects or discrepancies
• Maintaining accurate inventory and warehouse records
• Ensuring outgoing deliveries comply with Supply Chain procedures
• Maintaining high housekeeping and 6S standards
• Working closely with warehouse, workshop and operational teams
• Following all site HSE policies, procedures and safe work practices

About You / Requirements

• Current Forklift Licence – essential
• Previous warehouse, stores or logistics experience
• Strong commitment to HSE and safe working practices
• Physically fit and comfortable in a hands-on environment
• Reliable, energetic and able to work effectively within a team
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Dangerous Goods (DG) ticket – desirable
• Dogging ticket – desirable

Qualifications & Certifications

• Required: Forklift Licence
• Preferred: Dangerous Goods (DG) ticket, Dogging ticket
