Your new company is a global mining and metals company on an island in Australia's Gulf of Carpentaria, specialising in the production of high grade manganese ore. Your new role

Our client is seeking Warehouse Officers to work on a 7/7 roster rotating days and nights shifts for an estimated 3–6 ‑ month period and is available to start immediately. This position is offered on a FIFO basis from Cairns, with all meals and accommodation provided for the duration of each rostered swing.

Responsibilities will include

  • Receipting
  • Dispatching
  • Inspection of goods
  • stock taking
  • Unloading of deliveries from vehicles by forklift
  • Destuffing shipping containers by forklift

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role you must have:

  • Warehouse experience on a mine site is essential
  • Forklift ticket
  • Manual drivers licence
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience with SAP
  • Ability to pass a mine site medical & Drug and Alcohol
