Company Description:Anglo American Steelmaking Coal Steelmaking coal is an essential ingredient in blast-furnace steel manufacture, producing steel used for critical building and infrastructure around the world.  In Australia, we operate five steelmaking coal mines in Queensland’s Bowen Basin Job Description:Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of company assets. This is a hands-on position where you’ll contribute to maintaining accuracy, organisation, and operational excellence across all warehouse activities.Key responsibilities include:Supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse function, contributing to workflow optimisation and team productivityManaging core inventory processes, including receipting, storage, stock control, and the secure handling and distribution of company assetsAssisting in the investigation and resolution of discrepancies across receipting, invoicing, and freight to support timely and accurate financial processingMaintaining high standards of housekeeping and organisation to ensure a safe, clean, and compliant working environmentParticipating in regular stocktakes and inventory audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of stock recordsCollaborating with internal teams and suppliers to support effective supply chain and logistics outcomes Qualifications:To be successful in this role, applicants will be able to demonstrate their commitment to safety and a zero harm culture.You will have LF Forklift license/s and experience working within a warehouse environment.Previous experience within the Mining Industry will be viewed favourably.Experience with SAP is also preferred.You will have a strong safety focus and have demonstrated the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Your ambitious attitude and drive to deliver results on a consistent basis will be key to your success in the role.
