About the Role
In the vacation student geotechnical engineer role, gain hands-on experience supporting ground control and geotechnical activities across the mine site. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll contribute to projects that help ensure safe and efficient mining operations.

Program locations
Northparkes Operations, NSW
One of Australia's most technically advanced mining operations, featuring block cave, sub-level cave and open pit mining.
- Roster: 5:2/4:3
- Included: Subsidised accommodation, flights at the start and end of the program, plus return travel over the festive period.
About you
- Studying geotechnical engineering, mining engineering, civil engineering or a related discipline.
- Genuine interest in geotechnical engineering and mining operations.
- A strong problem-solver with analytical thinking skills.
- A confident communicator and team player.
- Willing to live and work in a regional mining environment.
- Hold a valid manual driver's licence.
