Underground Truck and Nipper

KCA Site Services have multiple opportunities for experienced Underground Truck Operators and Nippers.

What You’ll bring

• Must hold a Full Manual C Class Drivers’ License.
• Experience on an Atlas MT-65 or Sandvik TH663i
• Experience operating an Underground Light Vehicle.
• Understanding of underground mining in development and production.

The Role - Nipper

• Assist Jumbo Operators with bolting and meshing headings.
• Support service crew when needed.
• Facilitate face preparation, markup and ground support.
• Set up consumables and supplies for development.

The Role - Truck Driver

• Operate truck to best practice to minimize damage on equipment.
• Work underground in a confined environment.
• Conduct pre starts checks on equipment prior to operation.
