• Roster: 7/7 or 14/14 (12-hr day and night shifts)

About the Role

Macmahon Underground is seeking motivated entry-level candidates to join our New to Industry Program and start a rewarding career in underground mining.

As an Underground Nipper & Truck Operator, you will play a vital role within the crew, supporting experienced Jumbo Operators while developing your skills in a hands-on environment.

This position is Kalgoorlie Residential ONLY, suitable candidates must reside in Kalgoorlie and be available do DIDO/BIBO to site on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist Jumbo Operators and underground crews in daily mining operations
• Operate underground trucks to safely and efficiently haul materials
• Conduct pre-start inspections and report faults or maintenance issues
• Follow strict safety procedures and site protocols at all times
• Work collaboratively within a skilled and experienced team
• Contribute to our people-first culture and live our Winning Values

What You’ll Bring

• Ability to work in a physically demanding and challenging environment
• Previous experience working in a labour-intensive role
• Previous experience operating large machinery (Agricultural, Earthmoving) - Advantageous
• Strong safety focus and ability to speak up
• A team mindset and reliable work ethic
• Commitment to contributing to a positive culture
• Valid manual (C class) Australian driver’s licence - Mandatory
