Underground Mining Opportunities

WA Techforce is recruiting experienced underground mining professionals for several permanent opportunities across established WA gold operations.

Current vacancies include:

• Alternate Underground Manager
• Underground Planning Engineer
• Senior Underground Mining Engineer

All positions are offered on an 8:6 roster, with candidates able to work either FIFO from Perth or residentially, depending on the role and operation.

Underground Mining Engineers

We are seeking Mining Engineers with underground hard-rock experience across areas such as:

• Mine planning and scheduling
• Production engineering
• Stope and development design
• Drill and blast
• Schedule compliance and reconciliation
• Budgeting, forecasting and life-of-mine planning
• Deswik, Surpac, Vulcan or similar software

Opportunities are available for both intermediate Planning Engineers and experienced Senior Mining Engineers.

Alternate Underground Manager

This position would suit an experienced underground leader with strong operational, technical and statutory capability.

Relevant experience may include underground production, development, planning, safety leadership, contractor management and statutory compliance.

A recognised First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate or relevant WA statutory qualification is required.
