Underground Long Hole Drillers & Jumbo Operators

The Opportunity

We’re looking for skilled Underground Long Hole Drillers & Jumbo Operators ready to jump straight into work on short-term or temp-to-perm contracts. With FIFO from Perth, excellent pay rates, and the chance to secure a longer-term position, this is a great opportunity for experienced drillers chasing their next solid role.
Available Rosters:

• 7/7
• 2/2

What You’ll Be Doing On The Jumbo:

• Sandvik DD421 & DD422i drill experience preferable
• Operate boom to scale face, drill holes for ground support, sample holes to specifications and plans
• Bolt, Mesh & Bore multiple headings per shift
• Frontline decline development
• Read and interpret mining instructions

What You’ll Be Doing On The Long Hole Drill:

• Operating underground long hole drills safely and efficiently
• Drilling accurately to design patterns, lines, gradients, and profiles
• Reading and following mine instruction plans
• Working with Sandvik and/or Atlas Copco rigs (experience highly regarded)

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven underground drilling & Jumbo experience
• Relevant tickets, RPLs, and a current manual driver’s license
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and provide a National Police Check
• Strong safety awareness and a proactive, can-do attitude
• Full Australian working rights
