The Role Working as part of a skilled maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a large fleet of underground mining equipment to ensure maximum reliability and availability.
Your duties will include:

  • Planned and breakdown maintenance on underground mobile plant
  • Fault finding and diagnostics across mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Component change-outs, servicing, and major repairs
  • Conducting inspections and preventative maintenance activities
  • Completing maintenance documentation and reporting
  • Working closely with operations to minimise equipment downtime

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Fitter/Mechanic
  • Previous underground mining experience
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Commitment to safe work practices
  • Ability to pass all site access requirements, including:
    • Pre-employment Medical
    • Drug & Alcohol Screen
    • National Police Clearance
    • Current Manual Driver's Licence
